TURBA DRAGO-MK II

Recently I introduced you here to Turba Optics, a new player on the cycling glasses market. They send me their newest glasses for a test and review. The Turba Drago-MK II is a successor to their universally acclaimed Drago model.

Built using the same shatterproof polycarbonate lens (topped with anti-glare TURBACoat™) and polycarbonate frame as the original Drago, the Drago MK II is still tough as nails. But most important it has the looks also.

KEY FEATURES

  • Shatterproof Polycarbonate Lens
  • Complete UV Protection + TURBACoat™ Anti Glare Technology
  • Vented Frames to Prevent Fogging
  • No Slip Nose Grip
  • Complimentary TURBA Branded Carry Bag and Cleaning Cloth

Test ride

Last week I took them for a first ride and I have to admit honestly that they ended up above my expectation. While the morning started out a bit grey, during my ride the sun came through the clouds. This potentially could give problems with other glasses that I own, because the changing conditions are not always giving the optimal riding experience. The Drago did and did it well, I actually never had the feeling I was wearing glasses. The fit is comfortable and most important you are not watching against the rims of the glasses, which can be very annoying. The legs are resting against your head but without pressure.

So looking at the price / quality experience Turba is really something you have to consider when buying new glasses.
