Who are we?
A team of enthusiastic MTB peeps who do not shy away from charity. With all a different appreciation for the MTB disciplines we still link together with a common purpose: “Where possible put our own health in a situation to help others while enjoying our passion”.
The current team members are:
Our first goal is riding for ALS at the following event @alshetlichtuitgaat.nl but hopefully many will follow.
Let’s introduce the team members:
Hello, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Roy David. A while ago I approached Jeroen to do a charity ride and specifically @alshetlichtuitgaat.nl. As we got more enthusiastic we invited more people to participate, so also Ronald and Edwin were joining the team. Together we are going to kick ALS, for all of those who can no longer!
May I introduce myself, I am Jeroen. I have been cycling all my life and occasionally on the mountain bike. Roy David invited Ronald, Edwin and myself for a MTB charity night ride. Although this is somewhat challenging for me, the people for whom we do this with ALS face many more challenges. So on October 19 2019 we turn on our lights and drive for those who can no longer. This is how team #welinktogether came into being.
Hello! I am Ronald from Szegretlines (@szegretlines). We are a middle aged mtb bike crew from NL. Our passion lies primarily in riding bike parks and enduro rides. I have been invited by Roy David (@mtbwestwood) and Jeroen (@WebHaaz) to ride with them on a charity ride. I have become enthusiastic about this and will therefore ride along and ride for everyone who has to deal with this debilitating disease. The rest of the crew will of course support me in this. #welinktogether
Hi everyone, I am Edwin. I am really what people call a cycling crazy, everything that has two wheels and pedals I will ride it. So next to my Trek Madone and my fixie I also have my awesome MTB bike. This bike I am using mostly during winter. When Roy David and Jeroen approach me for this team and the charity ride I immediately said YES. I am really looking forward riding together.
