Parentini Mosaico Windtext Jacket – Review

As autumn has kicked in it is time to start wearing a wind and waterproof jacket to keep yourself dry and warm while cycling. My obvious choice is a jacket from Parentini and in this case their limited edition Mosaico Windtext Jacket.

The jack has Windtex® which is a light stretch heat regulating membrane which blocks wind and water. The benefit from this is that it maintains an unaltered micro climate between your skin and the fabric. The jacket is very light weight and the elasticity makes it an excellent companion during those wet and windy autumn rides. But not only in autumn this jacket proofs it use. With a specified temperature range from -5 to +10 Celcius this jacket can also be used during winter and of course early spring.

During my ride I combined the jacket with Parentini K-dry bibshorts and legwarmers. This combination kept me perfectly dry and warm which is a necessity for me because as you know me a bit I don’t like rain or cold.

Next to all this technical benefits of the jackets I think it is also extremely cool. The combination of black, very convenient with muddy conditions, and the colorful arms make the jacket stand out between all other brands. I think Parentini did an excellent job and I am very happy with this jacket.
