ALS Het Licht Uit Gaat (When The Lights Go Out) – Charity MTB Ride For ALS

This annual MTB charity night ride for “When the lights go out”on the third Saturday of October (19th), has the aim of allowing mountain bikers to participate in an evening trip in a surprising way. And to dwell on it in such that, among other things, any muscular pain that has been sustained will be resolved the next day. Unfortunately, ALS patients do not experience this. The full registration fee goes to an ALS project.

When doing such event you of course need proper lightning on your bike. Via our good friend Boukje we received from the company BusyBee Bike Products some awesome front lights of the brand: Magicshine Lighting

These front lights are going to guide us over the 35 km track on this evening.

Also we arranged something pretty cool with Mountain Bike Clinics. On our mountainbike we will ride with the following custom race plates:

It really depics the event as well as bringing all riders and sponsors together socially.

As we also need to be visible from behind the peeps from sponsor us with a tail light:

So we are very happy with this! Because when the lights go out we are there for those who cannot!

Of course many many more pictures / videos and post ride info after the 19th but for now we end with a DHaRCO phrase: NO ORDINARY LIFE!
