Last week I decided to buy the new Parentini SCATTO Long Sleeves Jersey as I did not have any jacket between my winter jackets and my summer jerseys (except for my Mossa). The jacket is made with the “Super Roubaix” fabric, in the version K-DRY. This makes is water-repellent and perfect for a temperature between 8° and 15°C. The SCATTO (which means “click” in Italian) is also part of their INGA collection (INGA clothing is produced with fabrics made with GRS certified recycled yarn).
The details of the jacket are to my opinion very cool, the black combined with the green palm kind of colors are wonderful. The fitting of the jacket is perfect and the sleeves are snugly tight, not letting any wind onto your arms.
Putting it to the test
This weekend is was time for a small tide to put the jacket to the test and I have to say it did not disappoint me at all (Parentini never does so I am not surprised). Although the weather conditions were not great the jacket kept me dry and warm. The fleece kind inside of the jacket keeps you comfortable warm while the wind cannot catch you. I combined the jacket with my long Intenso bibs which made me feel like the men in black (hearing the theme song in my head now).
I would rate this jacket 9 out of 10 stars. The end of the sleeves are black but the inside is those palm trees, reversing it would make it 10 out of 10.
